Praying? How many people pray nowadays .. not a lot,I think.
People would mostly pray because they are part of some religion that you are totally devoted. Like certain religions even have special prayers. In Srinagar, a city in India. There a group of people called " Devout's". A Devout is a highly religious person, this person would probably be law-abiding and God fearing. So technically "The Devout's" would be a group of people that are Law-abiding and God fearing citizens.
In my picture, there are a few men from the devout's that are praying in the mosque called Jamia Masjid. Jamia Masjid is a large mosque, in fact it is the largest mosque that Srinagar has. Jamia Masjid is among the most sacred shrines of Muslims. This mosque has 370 pillars (columns) of wood. Thousands of Muslims attend on Friday's to carry out their prayers. The way Muslims pray is very special and has special significance, they do not bow down simply because they feel like it. They bow down because in the Koran their prophets always bow down to the earth with their head's tilted to the ground whenever they prayed. This shows reverence to Allah. In Islam prayer is one of the most important duty of a Muslim. Prayer is performed 5 times a day.
